Application Guide
How to Apply Floor Paint Correctly
Surface Preparation
Clean and dry the floor thoroughly. Remove dust, grease, oil, and loose particles. Fill cracks with floor filler and sand smooth.
Apply Primer
Apply OP Konzept Floor Primer evenly for better adhesion and moisture resistance. Allow 4–6 hours drying time before the next coat.
First Coat
Apply the first coat evenly using a roller or brush in one direction. Allow 6–8 hours drying time between coats for best results.
Second Coat & Cure
Apply the second coat perpendicular to the first for uniform coverage. Allow 24 hours to cure before foot traffic, 72 hours for heavy use.
Pro Tip from OP Konzept Experts
Always apply floor paint in temperatures between 10°C–38°C and avoid painting on rainy or humid days. For outdoor terraces, allow a third topcoat for extra waterproofing. Use masking tape along wall bases for clean edges, and thin the first coat by 5–10% with water for better penetration into the concrete.
